DOUBLE REUNION to be held AUGUST 1
Save the date! Veterans, guardians, volunteers, donors and family members from both spring flights--the May 8 Kwik Trip flight and the June 19 Logistics Health flight—are invited to a reunion to be held Sunday, August 1 from 2 to 4 pm at the La Crosse Center. More details will follow.
Great River Shakespeare Festival - The “Daly News” is a musical about a family keeping in touch through letters during WWII. This is based on a true story. It begins July 4- July 30. Bus Tour to Washington DC area
Sugar Creek Bible Camp in Ferryville is leading a bus tour September 12 to 18, 2010 to Washington DC and nearby areas of interest. The tour includes visits to the WWII Memorial. For details call 608-734-3113.
Valley View Rotary Mustang Raffle - A '66 Mustang is being raffled off by Valley View Rotary. The proceeds will be divided among 4 charities including Freedom Honor Flight. Tickets are $10 each or 3 for $20, Tickets can be purchased at any State Bank Financial, Merchants Bank, or Coulee Bank locations. The drawing is Oct 22. The fifth flight of Freedom Honor Flight was held Saturday, June 19. This was the Logistics Health Freedom Honor Flight, part of La Crosse's Freedom Fest which will also included a motorcycle rally, air show, and concert. With the June flight, Freedom Honor Flight has honored more than 500 veterans by taking them to Washington DC to see their memorials. Our next flight is scheduled for September. Our mission is to provide a special kind of honor for the sacrifices of America's veterans. We fly our heroes to Washington D.C. to visit their memorials. Currently, top priority is given to veterans of World War II.
